Product Overview

FUWA UT35TA 35-ton linked external gear semi-trailer landing gear assembly is a premium heavy-duty support leg developed by FUWA Heavy Industry for heavy oversized cargo transportation, heavy container trailers and heavy tank semi-trailers. It is installed in pairs at the front gooseneck of semi-trailers. When the tractor is uncoupled from the semi-trailer, the whole set of landing legs extends and touches the ground to independently bear the huge front load of the trailer. It ensures stable support during port yard storage, cargo loading & unloading, site parking and vehicle maintenance, preventing the trailer from tilting, sinking or overturning.

As a flagship heavy-duty series product of FUWA, UT35TA features synchronous left-right lifting. Operators can drive both legs to extend and retract synchronously by turning the hand crank on one side. Compared with UT28TA, UT35TA adopts thicker rectangular tubes and reinforced gear and lead screw structures. Its rated lifting capacity is upgraded to 35 tons per set with greatly improved static safety load. It is suitable for extreme heavy-load working conditions such as low-bed oversized trailers, heavy tank trailers and multi-axle heavy-duty skeletal trailers. The product meets overseas trailer industry TTMA and AAR standards and passes IATF16949 quality system certification. It is widely exported to South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other global heavy-duty trailer markets.

Main Structure

One complete UT35TA set includes left and right linked landing legs, heavy-duty external gearbox, two-speed transmission mechanism, thickened lead screw & nut lifting assembly, thickened inner & outer telescopic high-strength rectangular tubes, synchronous transmission shaft, operating hand crank, widened & thickened anti-slip base plate, reinforced mounting connection plate, safety positioning lock pin, dust cover and built-in oil storage self-lubricating system.

Heavy-duty External Gearbox: External gear layout brings good heat dissipation and convenient on-site maintenance. Gears are made of 20CrMnTi alloy steel with carburizing and quenching treatment, featuring high surface hardness, strong impact resistance and wear resistance, and not easy to break teeth under heavy load.

Two-speed Transmission Mechanism: High-speed gear for fast extension and retraction to quickly adjust stroke; low-speed gear outputs high torque to reduce hand-cranking force during heavy lifting, enabling easy single-person operation with both efficiency and labor saving.

Thickened Lead Screw & High-strength Composite Nut: Enlarged diameter precision cold-drawn lead screw. The nut is equipped with an internal oil storage groove to continuously supply grease for the lead screw, realizing long-term self-lubrication, lowering maintenance frequency in field conditions and reducing wear.

Thickened Telescopic High-strength Rectangular Tubes: Upgraded thickened low-alloy high-strength rectangular tubes, manufactured by hydraulic forming and automatic submerged arc welding. The welds have high strength, strong bending resistance and lateral eccentric load resistance, and are not easy to deform under heavy load.

Synchronous Linked Transmission Shaft: Connects left and right landing legs. Single-side crank operation enables synchronous lifting of both legs, eliminating risks of trailer tilt and stress concentration caused by separate lifting of a single leg.

Widened & Thickened Anti-slip Base Plate: Large-size thickened base plate increases ground contact area and reduces ground pressure, so it is not easy to sink in muddy ground, construction sites, sand and soft ground. Lifting holes are reserved on the base plate for easy disassembly and maintenance.

Safety Locking Mechanism: Insert the positioning pin to lock the position after the landing leg is fully extended, preventing unexpected retraction under load pressure and greatly improving safety during uncoupling operations.

High-strength Material & Full Anti-corrosion Process: Main rectangular tubes are made of high-strength alloy steel with double anti-corrosion treatment of electrophoretic primer plus black topcoat. It is salt spray resistant and rust-proof, adapting to harsh environments such as rainy coastal areas, construction sites with sand and stones, and winter roads with deicing salt.

Reinforced Structural Design: Wall thickness of rectangular tubes, gears and lead screws are all strengthened. It has stronger deformation resistance than UT28TA and is specially developed for oversized heavy cargo transportation. Standardized mounting hole positions can directly replace imported heavy-duty landing legs of the same specification for convenient maintenance and replacement. OEM customization is supported.
