Powertrain

This truck is powered by Sinotruk's in-house MT13 engine, rated at 430 horsepower and meeting Euro V emission standards. It's an inline six-cylinder, water-cooled unit with a turbocharger and intercooler, putting out a peak torque of 1,900 Nm. That's more than enough for hauling full loads, climbing hills, tackling rough mining roads, or driving on unpaved terrain. The engine burns cleanly, doesn't build up much carbon, and rarely gives you any trouble-way more dependable than those no-name gas engines floating around the market.

On the fuel side, it runs on CNG-compressed natural gas. A full set of blue high-pressure cylinders is mounted vertically along the side of the chassis, and the tank sizes can be customized based on customer needs. You can fill up easily at local small gas stations, which is pretty convenient. CNG prices usually run 30% to 45% cheaper than diesel, and over the long haul, the savings really add up-profit margins get a noticeable boost.

As for the transmission, it's a Sinotruk HW19712CL-a twelve-speed manual with high/low gearing. It handles high torque with ease and shifts smoothly. Paired with a dry diaphragm spring clutch that's tough and built to last, it handles full-load starts and heavy-duty driving without breaking a sweat.

Chassis and load-bearing structure

This truck has a 6×4 drive layout, with one steering axle up front and two drive axles at the rear. Hooked up to a trailer, the total compliant weight hits 40 tons, which is more than enough for hauling all kinds of standard semi-trailers in daily operations.

The front axle is a 7.5-ton steering axle with hydraulic power assist, making U-turns and tight cornering at low speeds a breeze-no heavy wrestling with the wheel.

Out back, it's got two ST16 wheel-hub reduction axles, with a standard 3.93 gear ratio that can be swapped for 4.42 or 4.8 depending on your needs. It keeps fuel consumption in check on the highway while still delivering plenty of grunt for heavy climbing. Whether you're on smooth national roads or bumpy dirt tracks, it handles both without complaint.

For suspension, the front uses leaf springs with stabilizer shock absorbers, and the rear runs a balanced leaf spring setup. The load capacity is solid, and the ride on rough surfaces is decent too. If you're running long-term in mining areas or beat-up rural roads, this suspension holds up well and doesn't give you much grief.

The towing pin uses the international standard 50# spec, so it hooks right up to most container tankers and flatbed semi-trailers on the market-no need to modify the trailer.

Under the gas cylinders, there's a patterned aluminum alloy toolbox that's waterproof and rust-resistant. Handy for stashing repair tools, a spare tire, or small parts whenever you need them.
